Counselling

Our counselling services provide a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences with a trained professional. We support adults, young people and children, helping individuals better understand their challenges and develop ways to move forward.

Advocacy

Our advocacy services support vulnerable individuals to have their voice heard and their rights upheld. We work with care, empathy and professionalism to ensure each person is represented and supported appropriately.

What we do

We provide a range of support services focused on improving wellbeing, strengthening families and supporting individuals through difficult times. Our work is centred around listening, understanding and responding to the needs of our community.

For over 60 years, Family Welfare has been supporting individuals and families across the Wigan borough.

Working in partnership with schools, health services and local organisations, we provide accessible, person-centred support to those who need it most.
